Harte Music Productions Inc is an all-inclusive music company that provides world class music production of many genres. We are breaking new ground in the areas of artist development and artist management. The co-founders, Don Harte and Mark Rosner, have over 40 years experience in the music industry combined.Co-owner Martin Acosta, has brought valuable contacts and experience to the company as well.We support our artists every step of way, after all, having a great CD is only useful if it can be heard. Having a great image is only useful if it can be marketed.

New Horizon was founded in 2005, basing itself on the idea to provide a connection between the Music Industry and the emerging artists in B.C. The number of talented young people in the Okanagan, B.C. and for that matter all over Canada is astounding, to put it bluntly, “Canada’s Got Talent” and waiting out there somewhere is another Shania Twain, Brian Adams or Jonnie Reed, just hoping for the chance to to be discovered. Minors have the toughest time of any hopeful artist or musician finding venues to showcase themselves, or to get themselves noticed, most clubs, pubs, and other such venues even some restaurants don’t want to baby sit these kids between their sets. The venues open to them are few and far between and most of these young artist just do not know how to get started in the music/arts business.

MOURNING COUP
www.myspace.com/mourningcoup
Performance artist turned solo artist, MC’s music is captivating using loops, electronic beats and calming synths. Using trippy psychedelic lighting, Chandra mimics haunting sounds from the natural world.

LITTLE JUNGLES
http://littlejungles.bandcamp.com/
Hometown hero who is always a pleasure to see. Described as “bitter truth wrapped in shiny pop-gaze wrappers like so much hard, hard candy” by Weird Canada, while Coke Machine Glow gushes that “electro and shoegaze bump up against one another like untethered boats, while carefully constructed melodic lines suck the listener along with the undertow”.
Sounds good, right? It is.

Calum Hughes @ Grateful Fed tonight

Calum Hughes is back at the Grateful Fed tonight, and last time he put off an amazing show!  Check him out.

Calum, growing up in Northern BC, learned to play the Scottish Fiddle at age six. This carried him into his teens when he started writing tunes on his guitar and Irish Flute. Musical influence showed through in the electric guitars and solid base riffs.

Calum’s penmanship showed through in his freshman album ( First Born ) and sophmore album ( Next of Kin).

Flash forward a few years and Calum found himself winning Western Canada Songwriting Competition for a “Single Soldier”. That album, Calum’s third,  (Boneshaker) won album of the year in the BCIMA’s.

In 2010, Calum won the “Band on the Run” competition for ” Henry has LOST HIS TEETH!” This tune hit the radio stations within the Okanagan. This would be album number four of the songwriters track record.

He has recorded three albums with the band Kinship and one solo album called “And that’s OK with Me”. Calum has been invited to perform all over North America at such festivals as NXNE, NXNW, SXSW, COCA.

Las Vegas loves Calum. He continues to perform and leaves every audience thirsting for more of his catchy tunes.
