JUNO Excitement Hits Kelowna March 21st with Let’s Hear It! LIVE

Vancouver has been home to many large-scale events, which engulf the city in a buzz of activity. In preparation for JUNO Week 2018, the Let’s Hear It! – JUNO Host Committee wanted to ensure the JUNO experience was broadened and could be shared by all British Columbians.

Extending the spirit of the Let’s Hear It! LIVE festival happening in downtown Vancouver, they are taking the show on the road to both Kelowna and Victoria, on theWednesday and Thursday of JUNO Week respectively.

“Music is not metropolitan-centric. We have burgeoning pockets of musicality all throughout this province and it’s important that Canada’s largest music awards ceremony be able to touch as many Canadians as we possibly can,” shared Nick Blasko, 2018 JUNO Host Committee Co-Chair.

In Kelowna, Let’s Hear It! LIVE will take place on March 21 at 7pm at the Kelowna Community Theatre. Performers include previous JUNO winner and 2018 nominee, DJ Shub; East Vancouver’s The Boom Booms; Vancouver’s Little Destroyer, supported by Okanagan local  Andrew Allen as the opening act. In Victoria, Let’s Hear It! LIVE will take place on March 22 at 7pm at the Capital Ballroom. Performers include East Vancouver’s The Boom BoomsLittle Destroyer,Fox Glove, Shawn Austin, Victoria’s Fintan O’Brien, Quinn Bates Tickets are $17.50 and available at https://www.ticketweb.ca/event/juno-tour-victoria-capital-ballroom-tickets/8185555?pl=atomique.

These events will culminate in Vancouver on Friday, March 23 at the Vancouver Art Gallery as the Let’s Hear It! LIVE festival site presented by CBC Music and CBC Vancouver kicks off. A free, all ages event that will include local artists such as The Funk Hunters, Khanvict, Desi Subculture, Peach Pit, Horsepowar, Mob Bounce, DJ Kookum, Conro, Shawn Austin, Astrocolor, Imur, Chersea and more!
