FIREBALL OUT OCTOBER 29, LISTEN TO IT TODAY
Greg MacPherson is set to release his sixth studio album, Fireball. Having recently debuted the official video for lead track “1995”, the Winnipeg blue-collar rock veteran is just finishing up an eastern Canadian tour before taking a short break and heading west. Out October 29 on Disintegration Records, Fireball, matches that same gritty, dynamic, and unpredictable vibe that MacPherson brings to every show. Listen to Fireball in its entirety today courtesy of Exclaim! and see Greg MacPherson in Kelowna on November 18 at Habitat.

Recorded and mixed with award winning engineer Cam Loeppky the album explores the dangerous, heartbreaking, and romantic stories of people you can relate to. Think Lou Reed with less heroin and no jazz chords. Where Mr. Invitation (2010) andDisintegration Blues (2011) were dark with as many ballads and soundscapes as rock songs, Fireball is all energy, passion, and style.
Respected as much for his work ethic as his music, MacPherson has released three critically acclaimed albums on the fiercely political label G7 Welcoming Committee and the Polaris Prize nominated Mr. Invitation on Smallman Records. Fireball will be the first full-length released on Disintegration Records, a Winnipeg label owned and operated by MacPherson and Loeppky.
Having played every folk festival and punk rock basement in Canada over the last 20 years, MacPherson has been crossing Canada since early October in support of Fireball. Western Canadian tour dates commence November 14.
