We Were Lovers (WWL) tour across Western Canada this summer to preview material from their forthcoming album, Pyramids. Dates are listed below.

No stranger to the road, WWL has spent many months on tour across Canada and much of the U.S. with travels to NYC, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles where they showcased at the legendary Viper Room. They’ve shared the stage with Janelle Monae, Tegan and Sara, Mother Mother, Handsome Furs, Diamond Rings, Awol Nation, The Arkells, Land Of Talk, and theNew York Dolls, have showcased at the WCMAs, CMW, NXNE, SXSW and recorded their last self-titled EP in NYC with Engineer / Producer Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV On The Radio, Beach House, Grizzly Bear, etc). WWL are set to open for Metric at the 2013 Sasktel Jazz Festival, followed by a Western North American tour and are currently preparing to release their full length, Pyramids.
Remix contest:
Music makers all over the world are invited to remix We Were Lovers’ single “Islands” for it’s official upcoming release. The selected winner will receive $200 plus have their remix released nationally with the single. The runner up will have their remix released nationally as well and the Top 10 remixes with receive a copy of Pyramids as well as be featured on WWL’ websites.
