I just caught local jazz guitarist Loni Moger playing at Good Earth coffee on Pandosy. They have live music now, and serving beer and wine from Okanagan Springs & Grey Monk Winery. It’s a great place to chill and catch live music. Located at 2929 Pandosy Street, they recently re-opened on April 2nd with a New Look, New Beer & Wine menu, New Patio, New Live Music and New Energy!
Loni is a musician who has supported and learned from many over the years, ( Tuck and Patti, Bo Didley,, Big Miller,Tommy banks, P.J.Perry, Moe Kaufman, Tim Tamashiro, The Swinging Bovines, Karl Roth, David Thiaw, Ellen Churchill,Barb Samuel, Zoe Theodorou, OlgaOsipova, Flora Ware) His desire to grow as an entertainer is only equalled by his thirst for knowledge and musical gear. He has delvedinto the intellectual side of music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and the artistic side of life through nature and people. Loni’s style is firmly rooted in the tradition and discipline of Jazz, but with pop sensibilities that make his music accessible to a wide audience. His groove is deep and his voice isenticing; as one fan put it, “It’s like having a conversation with a good friend…”.
