Project Mars, cross Canada tour with Riding Shotgun – Friday, July 27th at Dave’s Sports Bar

Ottawa, ON alternative hard rockers PROJECT MARS who are doing a cross Canada tour with Riding Shotgun and are performing a date in Kelowna on Friday, July 27th at Dave’s Sports Bar (155 Rutland Road South)
The band recently released it’s first single and have made it available for free download in promotion of their upcoming release ‘Don’t Hold Back’ in September.
About the single ‘Don’t Hold Back’: “Don’t Hold Back is written as dedication to Canadian troops and their good friend / former bassist Jordan Elliott who broke the news to them that he was going to be stationed in Afghanistan and before he left gave Project Mars guitarist Jason Connolly his guitar telling him that if anything were to happen to him that he wanted someone to write some good tunes and keep his spirit alive. Also, the band wanted to write a song that described a soldiers point of view of going into battle and not letting anything get in his or her way along with illustrating the fear that goes along with it and the thoughts of not knowing if you’ll ever return the same mentally or physically and alive to your friends and family.
