Zen Media is a fusion band hailing from Kelowna, B.C. Canada. This 6 piece experimental groove band hits pockets in as many dance mediums as it can get its hands on. Injecting raw hip twisting vibrations into everything from fat funk and disco grooves to deep dub and high energy hip hop. Extended jam sections are interwoven into tight compositions allowing for long periods of “stretching out” on what may be a 3 minute studio song. This combination of spontanaeity and composition allows Zen shows to flow and change transforming its music from static songs to musical vessels. Always looking for that next plateau Zen Media aspires to keep raising its audiences vibrations and its shows with fans that are environmentally and spiritually concious people doing there own part of “the great work”.
