Echo Nebraska at Fernando’s and Milkcrate Records on May 4th

9pm show at Fernandos with Tiger Moon.  Check out Facebook event.

Echo Nebraska bursting on to the Canadian music scene in the fall of 2014 with the release of a music video for their first single, ‘Hey, Allison’, Vancouver’s Echo Nebraska quickly gained a reputation of combining soul strung acoustic songs and subtle shades of Americana. Within a week of launching the band, CBC Music added the video to their list of Best New Music Videos for November 2014.

Tiger Moon is a three-piece Folk group boasting harmonious sounds, heartfelt melodies and foot stomping rhythms. Performing with a guitar, mandolin, bass and three voices, they draw their sound from Traditional Folk, Canadiana, Soul, Rock and even Reggae. They are a minimalist barn-burning band with syrup soaked harmonies. The band has released two EPs and performed over 350 shows already as a duo, and are currently in pre-production of a new album with their three-piece outfit. Tiger Moon will be touring Canada through 2016 again as a three-piece.

Summer Concert Series Weekend feat. Alan Doyle & The Beautiful Gypsies

Sun Peaks Resort welcomes Alan Doyle and The Beautiful Gypsies on Saturday August 20 for the final installment of our 5th Annual Summer Concert Series!

In addition to a successful solo career that saw the recent 2015 release of the critically acclaimed album “So Let’s Go”, Alan Doyle is best known for his work with legendary Canadian folk rock band Great Big Sea. The four-time East Coast Music Award winners were responsible for smash hits such as ‘Ordinary Day’ and ‘The Day Paddy Murphy Died’. After more than 20 years together the group parted ways in 2015, and Doyle started a new venture with Alan Doyle and The Beautiful Gypsies. The group will visit Sun Peaks Resort as part of their 2016 tour, which boasts sold out shows across North America.
