After short trips to Vancouver and Ottawa, I’m back and have lots of updates for the blog.  Lots of upcoming events around Kelowna in the coming weeks including the reunited Kyuss at Flashbacks Nov. 25th, Imaginary Cites (fresh off their tour with the Pixies) will be at Habitat November 26th, and lots of great shows at the Streaming Cafe. Oh, and Peak Performance Finalists, Current Swell, will be at O’Flanigans on Tuesday, Nov. 8th

Scottish singer/songwriter Yvonne Lyon

Concert with Scottish singer/songwriter Yvonne Lyon who is on her first Canadian tour. Opening the show will be Ryan Donn.

7:30pm at the Coast Capri Hotel

Yvonne is touring to support her latest album “More than Mine“.

Yvonne’s album, ‘Ashes & Gold’ featured ten original songs and again produced by the collective genius of Graeme Duffin & Sandy Jones at The Foundry Music Lab.   Yvonne has performed live on the Bob Harris Show and BBC1’s Heaven & Earth show with Gloria Hunniford.  Past support slots have included Karine Polwart, Teenage Fanclub, Juliet Turner, Kate Rusby, Martyn Joseph, Patty Griffin, Luka Bloom and Steve Forbert.
