SUMMER TOUR WITH EIGHT DATES ACROSS BRITISH COLUMBIA AND ALBERTA

Vancouver indie-rock band Emberfield is set to embark on their first Western Canada tour, with eight dates across British Columbia and Alberta. This tour comes off the heals of their debut EP release titled ‘Lost & Dreaming,’ which was released in late April 2013.

The tour begins with a kick-off show at Backstage Lounge on Granville Island in Vancouver. Following this date they will set out to preform in Kelowna, Kamloops, Clearwater, Edmonton, Calgary, Banff, and Revelstoke with local bands from each city.

The ‘Lost & Dreaming’ EP was recorded at the brand new Monarch Studios with producer Tom Dobrzanski (The Zolas, Said The Whale, Hey Ocean!). It consists of six tunes that showcase the band’s earnest writing style and laid-back sound. The first single off the EP ‘Shine’ was released digitally on March 14^th. The rest of the album was released both digitally (iTunes, Bandcamp, rdio) & via CD sales off their website.

The band comprises of four Vancouver musicians Steve Marriot (lead vocals, guitar), Nashlyn Lloyd (vocals, piano, ukulele) Chris Kavanaugh (drums), and Daniel Helps (bass) who have been playing together since March 2012.
