Music Festivals 2014 – when will those lineups be released?

For many people in Kelowna who enjoy music festivals, this is the time of the year when festival lineups start to come out and you learn which bands could be touring in the summer.  It all starts with the big one – Coachella in Palm Springs.  Check out their poster below!  This festival sets the pace for all the big American festivals, and that means the Canadian festivals soon follow.

Boonstock in Penticton – still no rumours or confirmed Acts for this one yet…

Pemberton – This could have one of the biggest lineups of the summer for BC music fans, but no confirmed Acts yet.

Keloha – Still no official word on this yet.  Fingers crossed an announcement will be coming soon…

There’s lots of great festivals yet to be announced, so check out my page here.

Kelowna Folk Club presents: T. Nile on Feb. 12th

Coming February 12, 2014

Kelowna Folk Club presents: T. Nile

Another great house concert for Kelowna.
Details to be announced.. stay tuned.

“A quantum leap in heartfelt emotion and sonic texture.”
— Jeffrey Morgan, CREEM Magazine

Born and raised in a cedar cabin on a remote gulf island and daughter of a legendary west-coast one man band, T. Nile has blended the best of her folksy upbringing with modern electronics creating a sound at the leading edge of soulful synth-pop and electro-folk.

Her first album received acclaim from both fans and industry alike winning her “Best New Artist” title as well as nominations for “Best Vocalist” both both from the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Her first album has sold 9 thousand copies and counting, all independently.

Now, inspired by such artists as Beck, Robyn, Feist and Sia, her sophomore LP “Tingle & Spark” comes out on March 10th 2014 followed by tour and festivals in Canada,
the USA and Europe.
