Lille Gard Fest 2011

Howdy Friends and Music Lovers,

We’re having another music fest party with the second ever LILLE GARD FEST on JULY 2, 3

Facebook Event

Lille Gard Music Fest will be a sweet little gathering of friends and music lovers – a weekend full of frivolity & community building experience for everyone with lots of amazing live music on stage.

Lille Gard Fest is not your typical music fest. There is no cost and no pay for the bands. The musicians are coming to hang out, to celebrate community and to play for the pure joy of it. We are keeping our little fest very simple and grassroots, so come and enjoy good music, good food and good friends in a beautiful country setting.

Canada Day Weekend at the Grateful Fed

Facebook Event – Friday, July 1st

A folk hip-hop pioneer, Jimi Maze blends a country drawl with lyrical rhymes to create a soundtrack for the train-hopping hitchhiker in all of us… What? A singer, songwriter, DJ, MC and guitarist, Jimi Maze has merged his love for the microphone with twangy rock, forming a traveling band of bluegrass musicians. With a classic country drawl Jimi is backed up by his band – a banjo, guitar, double bass and accordion, all stomping along to his hip-hop lyrical approach. Born in southern Ontario (Canada!) Jimi spent his youth hitchhiking, following The Grateful Dead, and living in a van. Today he spends his time recording, touring North America, and living in Toronto. Jimi Maze has toured every province and territory in Canada, 36 US states, and four continents.
Saturday, July 2nd – Facebook Event
Shotgun Dolls is a 3 piece rock band from Calgary Alberta. Formed in early 2009, this band is a band of friends and dedicated musicians. These 3 guys were tired of rock n roll slowly drifting away, so they came together to make Shotgun Dolls. With Influences from Queens of the Stone Age and Led Zeppelin to Alexisonfire and Priestess, Shotgun Dolls holds no limits on what they want to do. They seek rock n’ roll with everything they love as guiding ground.
