Last call for applications – Be part of Music BC and K96.3’s K Comp Vol. 2
I just wanted to give you all the heads up that K96.3 has announced their last call for applications to be part of Music BC and K96.3’s K Comp Vol. 2 emerging artist compilation. The deadline for submissions is August 12th so you have just over 2 weeks to get you application in to not only be one of the twelve artists featured on the K Comp Vol. 2, but you will also have the opportunity to attend career development workshops presented by Music BC.
New to this year’s K Comp emerging artist series is that all twelve artists chosen to be on K Comp Vol. 2 will also get the chance to showcase during the Pop Okanagan Festival taking place in Kelowna October 13th – 15th. The festival was created as a legacy event to replace BreakOut West that took place here last year due to it’s huge success!
Applying is easy peasy – just visit http://k963.fm/k-comp, download the application, fill out and submit! Once submissions are closed, all applications will be juried by a panel of industry professionals selected by Music BC and the twelve artists chosen to be featured on the K Comp Vol. 2 will be announce live on-air on August 19th.
Please feel free to pass this on to any other Okanagan artists that you know.
Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Regards,
Pyper Geddes
