Old Man’s Beard at the Streaming Cafe

It was just announced that Old Man’s Beard is playing the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues festival in August, and you can catch them at an intimate show at the Streaming Cafe this Saturday, Jan. 23rd.

Old Man’s Beard has just completed a three month tour promoting their debut album ‘The River’ that has taken the band from Victoria to Montreal, and has included over twenty-five live performances in cities and towns across the country.  They have given radio interviews on CBC Radio One, Rock 105.3, CKLU 96.7, and their album has reached the #24 spot on CFBX (Kamloops) 92.5’s Top 30 Most Played Album list.  Old Man’s Beard was recently short listed for a B.C. Interior Music Award for New Artist of the Year, and will be performing for the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration in Salmon Arm this coming January.  They are proud to announce that they will be performing this summer as part of the 2010 Roots and Blues Festival in Salmon Arm, in addition to headlining the CONDUIT arts and music festival in Kelowna on February 6th.
