The Kelowna Folk Club presents Don Ross in concert this Friday, May 1 at the Okanagan Mission Community Hall, 4409 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna. Doors open at 7:00PM concert starts at 8.

Don Ross is one of the most respected musicians in Canada and one of the top guitarists in the world. He has twice won the prestigious U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. That competition cannot be won only with immaculate technique; the player’s music must also display a high degree of emotion and intensity.

Don Ross does all that in a musical style that borrows from jazz, folk, rock and classical music creating what he describes as “heavy wood”.
